Common Questions About Post-Hospitalization Support

Below are the questions families most often ask. If you need more details, contact our care team.

We can typically schedule a caregiver within 24 hours of hospital discharge—sometimes even on the same day—to ensure a smooth hand-off.

No. Caregivers provide non-therapeutic encouragement for prescribed exercises, but all formal PT must be done by a licensed therapist.

We do not perform medical dressing changes. However, we remind clients and families to change dressings per their surgeon’s instructions.

Post-surgery meal plans—such as soft-foods, low-sodium or high-protein—are fully supported. Our caregivers prepare and serve each meal.

Duration depends on the surgery type and doctor’s guidance. Many families book 1–2 weeks of daily visits, then taper to a few times per week as mobility improves.
